All Erasmus Mundus Scholarship applications are reviewed and ranked by all consortium partners. The highest-ranked applicants will be awarded a scholarship. A reserve list is also made, and should an original awardee withdraw, the next eligible applicant on the reserve list will be offered a scholarship.

You can wait until the results of the scholarship are announced before accepting or declining the offer. Unsuccessful scholarship applicants will then have a defined period, which will be shared with them, to pay their deposit or not to secure a place as a self-funding student.

For entry to the programme in 2025, applicants must have submitted all documentation and received and accepted their unconditional offer by no later than 31 July 2025 in order to be issued with an admissions letter from the University of Tartu. Practical Questions

These are not required by CEERES partner universities, but some visa applications may require medical certificates or tests. For example, the UK Government may require you to undertake a TB test as part of your visa application, depending on your nationality.

Course/Programme Questions

This may be possible, depending on the approval of the CEERES director, course convenors/lecturers, and course availability and capacity.

Students may also attend other courses in an audit (observatory) capacity, again depending on approval, availability, and capacity.

Your dissertation topic is linked to your second year mobility. Dissertations can be based on a wide variety of topics, but this may limit the supervisors available. Past dissertation topics and mobility locations are available on the consortium website.

There are written and oral examinations for language classes. Languages are taught within the A1 – C2 CEFR Language Levels framework.

As well as registering at the University Tartu in August, you will also register at the University of Glasgow, who handle all tuition fee payment.  At the time of registration in August, you will select the classes for the Glasgow semester.  These can be changed at a later date if necessary.

Visa advice is provided ahead of each mobility, but it is very important that you do your own research to decide which visa route is most beneficial to them. Students are responsible for their own visa applications.

Students are required to abide by the University of Glasgow Student Contract. You must also sign the CEERES Student Agreement, which will be shared with applicants by programme staff.

Your third mobility location is based on the dissertation proposal that you submit in January of the first year of the programme. The University of Tartu will provide detailed instructions during semester one.
